Tay District River Management Plan 2021 Outcomes
As a Board, we wanted to carry out a satisfaction survey in 2022 to give you an opportunity to let us know how you think we have performed during that year. We’re interested in listening to your views, both good and bad.
Please read the 2021 River Plan Outcomes and what was achieved during the past 12 months before answering a short Satisfaction Survey.
Tay District River Management Plan 2022-2024
This Management Plan, produced by the Board and staff of the Tay District Salmon Fisheries Board, details the Board’s proposed work for 2022 to 2024 on the Tay, Earn and Eden. The Board itself cannot do much to influence what happens at sea, where salmon do have problems currently, therefore, must do all it can to help the salmon when they are in our care in our rivers. Therefore, our overriding objective is for the river to export as many smolts as possible to sustain and hopefully in time rebuild catches ensuring the Tay remains one of the most productive salmon rivers in Scotland – read more.
