Meeting with Perth Kinross Council
– David Summers met with engineers from Perth & Kinross Council, Thursday 25th August, to listen to their proposals to repair the weir.
The engineers wish to reinstate the deteriorating east half of the weir at Brig o Blair.

River Ericht Focus Group
The Tay District Salmon Fisheries Board (TDSFB) backed the formation of the new Ericht Focus Group at its latest public meeting (9th August) after angling representatives set out the multiple threats facing salmon swimming in the river.

The Scottish Government published its Scottish Wild Salmon Strategy in January this year but has already been urged to accelerate the delivery of its priority themes for action after it emerged the number of salmon caught across the country last year was the lowest on record.
