Huge gravel deposit
The catchement was hit by extreme flooding following a yellow weather warning by the Met Office earlier this month.
The resulting spate on the river Almond was the the biggest it has been for many years.
Huge gravel bar deposited at the mouth of the river as the Almond flowed into a relatively low river Tay.

At one point the ghllies on Almondmouth on the Tay reckoned there was more water flowing from the Almond than travelling down the main river Tay.
