River Heights

We encourage you to use this resource before you make a trip to the river.

Each webcam has real-time video feeds, a searchable archive of images and comprehensive data including river heights, rainfall data, tide times and weather.

FishPal Tay River Levels use feet and inches as wanted by most anglers. Most other websites use metres. The heights shown are those above normal summer lows and use data collected hourly from the relevant agency’s website.

The weather sites are from the BBC, Met Office and Windy.com and show radar maps of rainfall. Use them to find out what has fallen or is about to fall in the catchment.

Please share this page with your fellow river users.
